What are Diane Jordan’s segments, More Comfort Mondays all about . . .
Diane Jordan, owner of Natural Body Works Healing Center in Kingston has been providing complimentary care in muscular therapy massage, reflexology, hypnosis and energy healing at Natural Body Works in Kingston for 20 years.
At Natural Body Works, we work with people who have a large variety of reasons for seeking complementary care. From the need for relaxation to combat stress and anxiety to help with controlling the symptoms of injuries and complex medical conditions – and everything in between.
Overwhelmingly what we find is that every single of the (thousands) of people we have seen over the years, express one basic need in common. They want to feel more comfortable.
Many people when dealing with a stress, anxiety or physical symptoms do not realize that more comfort is easily within their reach. Even long standing, chronic symptom can be eased to bring significantly more comfort into the individuals’ life experience.
We have had countless people who’ve lived with daily symptoms for years on end (with no idea that they could actually feel better). When they feel the ease and comfort that is possible through complementary care, they are amazed.
I had the idea that I could reach many more people through WATD and help them realize more comfort in their lives in 2019.
During my More Comfort Mondays segments on WATD I will talk each week about a different aspect of how complimentary care can bring more comfort into your body, mind and soul.
We do not ever claim to heal or eradicate disease. And we are never a substitute for traditional medical care. We provide a compliment to the care that is being offered by traditional medicine. And more often than not the care we provide makes the difference between an intolerable experience and a significantly more comfortable one.
In the coming weeks I will cover a variety of topics connected to reflexology, hypnosis, energy work and many types of massage. I will discuss how these modalities can positively impact the experience of stress, anxiety, pain, chronic diseases like cancer and autoimmune conditions, body image, grief and many more topics.
I hope that people will submit questions to WATD email which I will cover in various segments.
